Guwahati, 21st of June, 2024 : Reliance Jio has reached a significant milestone, exceeding 200,000 wireline subscribers in Assam, as reported by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for April 2024. This accomplishment highlights Jio’s dominant position in the Assam telecom market, underscoring its dedication to providing high-speed internet and exceptional connectivity throughout the region. As of April 2024, Jio’s wireline customer base in Assam totals 203,476. With this, in the home broad band market Jio commands a 61.3% market share in state of Assam.
Nationally, Jio continues to spearhead growth in the wireline segment, adding 355,915 new customers in April 2024 alone. Jio’s total wireline subscriber count across India has now reached 12,388,665.
