Agartala, 24th of May, 2024: Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has announced Madhyamik, Higher Secondary, Madrasa Alim and Madrasa Fazil Examination 2024 Results on Friday (24th May, 2024) 12 noon at the board office by TBSE President Dr. Dhananajoy Gan Chowdhury.
This year, TBSE conducted the TBSE Madhyamik Examination 2024 from March 2 to March 23 and the TBSE Higher Secondary (H.S +2) Examination 2024 from March 1 to March 30.
In the press conference, the president of the TBSE Dr. Dhananajoy Gan Chowdhury said that the Passing rate this year in Madhyamik is 87.54 %. The Passing rate this year in Higher Secondary is 79.27 %. He said that this is the first time that the TBSE board results have been published in May instead of June.
The President of the TBSE said that 33,739 candidates from 1,057 schools of the state sat for this year’s Madhyamik examination. Among them, the number of male students is 15,782 and the number of female students is 17,957. A total of 29,534 passed, 4,205 failed and 205 did not sit the exam.
A total of 310 schools have a 100 percent pass rate and 16 schools where no one has passed. Gomati, South Tripura and West Tripura districts are ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in terms of pass rate.
The president of the TBSE board also added that 25,350 candidates from 409 schools sat for the Higher Secondary examination. Among them, the number of male students is 12,015 and the number of female students is 13,335. A total of 20,095 people passed. The pass rate is 79.27 percent. 5,255 failed and 168 did not sit the examination.
The number of schools where 100 percent students passed the Higher secondary examination was 39 and the number of schools where all failed was 13. 1st, 2nd and 3rd in terms of pass rate are Sepahijala, West Tripura and South Tripura districts respectively.
In the press conference, the Secretary of the TBSE Dulal Dey said, Paritosh Nath, a student of Ananda Mohan R.S. High School in Dhalai district, has passed the examination from the Penitentiary in this year’s Madhyamik examination. 3,213 and 4,235 students have qualified for Bochor Bachao examination at Madhyamik and higher secondary level. He said, this time the Madhyamik exam started on March 2 and ended on March 23. Madhyamik examination is conducted in total 69 centers.
Among the total Madhyamik candidates there were regular 32,193, continuing 316, compartmental 1,026, external 174 and other 30 students. There were 130 candidates in Madrasa Alim section and 99 passed. Also there were 159 candidates for Divyangjan exam and 111 passed out of them. The Passing rate of in Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) schools in Madhyamik is 85.01 %.
The Secretary of the TBSE board also added that the higher secondary examination in the state starts on March 1 and ends on March 30. The examination is conducted at a total of 60 centers. Out of the total Higher Secondary candidates there were regular 24,266, continuing 339, compartmental 526, external 192 and others 27 students.
22 students sat for the exam in Madrasa Fazil Arts Department and all passed. 49 candidates sat for the exam in Madrasa Fazil Theology Department and 48 passed. In this year’s Higher Secondary examination, 92 students appeared for the examination for Divyangjan and 58 passed. Moreover, this year 1 candidate of the third gender also gave and passed. The Passing rate of in Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) schools in Higher Secondary (H.S+2) is 70.57 %. He also said that the work of evaluation of answer sheets of intermediate and higher secondary examinations started from last April 24 and ends May 12.
President of the TBSE, Dr. Dhananajoy Gan Chowdhury thanked the nearly 2,500 teachers engaged in evaluating the answer sheets of all the exams this year. He also thanked the security forces for maintaining peace and order during the examination at all levels of personnel involved in the examination work in the press conference.
