Teliamura, 10th of May, 2024 : A youth was caught selling stolen goods. The incident occurred on Friday (10th May, 2024) evening in Teliamura Bazar area. According to the details of the incident, around Friday evening, a youth came to a shop in Teliamura market to sell a stolen Water Pumps. The shop owner is suspicious, he informs the nearby shopkeepers. When the shopkeepers came and questioned the youth, they noticed inconsistencies in his words. When he was interrogated, he confessed that he had stolen a water pumps from a hardware godown in Maharanipur area under Teliamura police station and brought it to the market for sale.
The detained youth also involved that he was involved in thefts in different areas of Teliamura during the last two years. In the few days, there have been incidents of theft in various houses and offices in Teliamura city and surrounding areas. It is believed that a team of these youths may be involved in the robbery. However, various circles are also claiming that the real information will come out in the police investigation. Afterwards public informed the Teliamura police station. On receiving the information, the police came and arrested the youth and took him to the police station. Police are said to be investigating a case.
