Khowai 17th of January 2024 : With the initiative of District Welfare Officer of Khowai District, Khowai Sub-Division & District Level Tribal Folk Dance And Distribution of Sewing Machines & SC Merit Award-2024 organized at Town Hall, Khowai on Wednesday (17th January, 2024). The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the Hon’ble Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, Statistics Minister Bikash Debbarma and dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering the Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Statistics Minister said, Today’s students are tomorrow’s future. The student of today lays the foundation stone for future society. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha led Government is always thinking how to development the state. The minister also added that, this effort will continue in the coming days.The Tribal Welfare Minister along with other guests were handed over Sewing Machines and SC Merit Award to the beneficiaries.
In today’s programme apart from the Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Statistics Minister, Khowai District Magistrate & Collector Chandni Chandran, Joydeb Debbarma Sabhadhipati, Khowai Zilla Parisad, Chairman of Khowai Municipal Council Debasish Nath Sharma, Chairman of SC Welfare Sub Committee Samir Kumar Das and many other dignitaries were present in the programme.
