Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the Mukhya Mantri Shustha Shoishob, Shustha Kaishor Abhiyan (MSSSKA) – 5.0 at Belonia on Tuesday (19th September, 2023). “The government has prioritized the development of health services and infrastructure in the State. Emphasis is placed on normal physical development of future generations. Parents should also be aware of the physical and mental development of children and adolescents. If the health of children and adolescents does not develop normally, their mental development will be disrupted. Healthy and strong children and adolescents are the future of the country. So for them to Mukhya Mantri Shustha Shoishob, Shustha Kaishor Abhiyan has been launched in the state.,” Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the inauguration ceremony of Mukhya Mantri Shustha Shoishob, Shustha Kaishor Abhiyan (MSSSKA) – 5.0 today. The chief minister said that the aim of the Government is to keep children, adolescents and mothers healthy.
The chief minister also said on the occasion that the Government has taken various steps to improve the health services and infrastructure of the State. Agartala Government Medical College has arranged Nine super specialty services. Dental colleges have been opened in the state and studies have also started. The infrastructure of district hospitals in the state is being improved, so that the pressure on the state hospitals is reduced. In the budget of the current financial year, resources have been kept for opening 100 health sub-centres in the state. The government is working not only for health but also for the overall development of the state and public welfare.
Dilip Kumar Chakma, Director of State Mission, National Health Mission delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Hon’ble Tribal Welfare (TRP & PTG), Minorities Welfare Minister Sukla Charan Noatia, MLA Swapna Majumder, Secretary of Health & Family Welfare department Dr. Debashish Bose, Director of Higher Education Department NC Sharma and other dignitaries were present in the programme.
