16th Session Of The Chief Minister’s Weekly Programme “Mukhyamantri Samipeshu”.

Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme the weekly public interaction programme of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. The Chief Minister interacted with the common people about their issues and difficulties.

As the part, on 16th session of the Chief Minister’s weekly programme “Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ on Wednesday (9th August, 2023), people of different profession in the state attended the programme. They spoke with the Chief Minister regarding their problems seeking assistance on various aspects such as medical treatment, financial assistant, education etc. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha patiently listened to each of them and directed officials and Secretaries of concerned departments to take the necessary initiatives.

Divyang (65%) Dhirendra Mandal from Jogendranagar of Agartala urged the Chief Minister for social pension to be provided to him. The Chief Minister directed the Social welfare & Social education department to ensure social pension for Dhirendra. On the other hand, a daily wage worker from North Durganagar of Khowai, Birendra Debnath urged for assistance for health treatment of his 12-year-old son, Nihar Debnath who is suffering from kidney disease. The Chief Minister directed SW&SE department to provide financial assistance for Nihar’s treatment. Amarendra Kumar Shukla Baidya, a resident of Kalacherra block of North Tripura urged for assistance for treatment of his cancer-affected wife, Ruby Shukla Baidya. The Chief Minister assured Amarendra of providing necessary assistance. Rupan Ghosh from Kashipur informed the Chief Minister during interaction that he has been suffering from different diseases including Intestinal Tuberculosis. Due to financial difficulties, Rupan had been facing difficulties for his treatment. Cancer-affected Baby Sinha of Gandhighat also joined the programme to ask for assistance for her health treatment. Anjana Das from Bardowali joined the programme in order to seek assistance for treatment of her husband who has been suffering from lung disease. Anjana had been finding it difficult to bear the medical expenses of her husband. The Chief Minister directed Medical Superintendent of GBP Hospital Dr. Sankar Chakraborty to take necessary steps for treatment of Rupan Ghosh, Baby Sinha and Anjana Das’s husband. Likewise, a vegetable vendor of Arundhatinagar, Uttam Saha sought assistance for medical treatment in the programme.

5 persons including Rail Hawker Ajit Debnath shared their woes with the Chief Minister in the programme, to which the Chief Minister directed his Secretary Dr. P. K. Chakraborty to take necessary steps accordingly to resolve their problems. Shatabdi Chakraborty of Nagerjala, Deblina Das Gupta of Office Lane, Kolkata resident Mandira Shah who is presently employed at Government Press, Bardowali, Renuka Chakraborty of Kamlapur and many more shared their woes with the Chief Minister in the programme and were assured to be provided with necessary assistance to resolve their problems. Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. P. K. Chakraborty, Medical Superintendent of GBP Hospital Dr. Sankar Chakraborty, Joint Director of Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education department Arun Debbarma were present during the programme.
