Chairman Jagadish Debbarma strongly protests against the interference of the State Government in the administrative work of the ADC. He said today that the ADC administration has the constitutional right to form a village development committee. For this, ADC made a law in 1994. The term of ADC’s Village Committees has recently expired. The new steering committee of the ADC has decided to elect to the Village Committee. Until the election, the people have access to various development projects at the grassroots level. It was decided to form a Village Development Committee to deliver. The ADC administration has issued instructions in that regard. But he alleged that the State government was interfering in the work of the ADC for political gain. The State Government does not have the constitutional power to form village committees. Chairman Jagadish Debbarma alleged that the State Government had done illegal power. Jagadish Debbarma also said the State Government has not felt the need to hold elections in the vacant seats of various Village Committees of the ADC for a long time. By not holding elections, the BJP-IPFT kept themselves in power. He alleged that the development money was plunderaged. He urged the State Government to rise above politics and extend all possible assistance to the development of the ADC.
