“Mukhyamantri Samipeshu” Weekly Public Interaction Programme Of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme the weekly public interaction programme of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. The Chief Minister interacted with the common people about their issues and difficulties.

As the part, the Chief Minister’s weekly programme “Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ on Thursday (3rd August, 2023), people of different profession in the state attended the programme. They spoke with the Chief Minister regarding their problems seeking assistance on various aspects such as medical treatment, financial assistant, education etc. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha patiently listened to each of them and directed officials and Secretaries of concerned departments to take the necessary initiatives. Like other days today also the chief minister, in his official residence, listened to the grievances and complaints of people coming from different corners of the state. Uttam Debbarma from Ambassa who was suffering after brain stroke was not being able to purchase medicines for due to his financial constraints. The chief minister asked the health secretary to arrange three months medicine free of cost for Uttam Debbarma.

Shipra Rani Das came there to pray for help for her husband who was ailing due to issues in his eyes. After examining the documents the chief minister directed the medical superintended Dr. Shankar Chakraborty to take necessary measures in this regard. Sabita Majumder from Kanchanbari of Unakoti district was at the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu praying for help for the treatment of her husband and deaf and dumb daughter. On this matter the chief minister talked to the secretary of social welfare and social education department Tapas Roy and monthly pension for her daughter was ensured on the spot thereafter. Mithu Das from Ramnagar came there to talk to the chief minister over her land related issues. After discussion she was assured of resolution of her problem. Rupali Sarkar Deb from Barbil, Khowai also received assurance of solution of her problem.

On the other hand, Shubha Jamatia from Karbook Block came to attend Mukhyamantri Samipeshu to pray for treatment of his sister’s eye and brain disease. In addition to assistance for treatment the chief minister also directed the authorities to arrange for financial assistance from social welfare and social education department. The chief minister advised Aparna Saha of Town Shibnagar to get treated in the state only. Secretary of the health department Dr. Debasis Basu talked about giving assistance through Rogi Kalyan Samiti. Narayan Rishi Das of Pratapgarh, Anamika Chowdhury of Gandatwisa, Sanjit Ghosh of Kailashahar and any others were given assurance for treatment.

Many people also coming there with their land, admission etc. issues to get help. Raju Chakma, son of Kritaranjan Chakma from Gandatwisa also came there with his problem and he did not return disappointed either. Ashok Datta of Ramnagar was also given assurance on his legal issues. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha directed the secretary Dr. P.K. Chakraborty to look into the matter. In brief none of the attendees returned disappointed from Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme. In some cases assistance was given instantly and in other cases there was sincere assurance from the chief minister. Today Mukhyamantri Samipeshu was also attended by Dr. P.K. Chakraborty, secretary to the chief minister, health secretary Dr. Debasis Basu, secretary of social welfare and social education Tapas Roy, medical superintendent of GB Hospital Dr. Shankar Chakraborty, medical superintendent of Cancer Hospital Dr. S. Debbarma.
