With the initiative of Government of Tripura Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Hon’ble Agriculture, Transport & Tourism Minister Pranajit Singha Roy on Wednesday (14th December, 2022) has inaugurated a 1000-tonne capacity rice godown in Bazar Colony area under Kalyanpur Agriculture Division.
“The present Government has been continuously working to improve the quality of agriculture and farmers since coming to power in the entire state of Tripura”, Hon’ble Agriculture, Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said at the inaugural ceremony of the rice godown. The Agriculture, Minister claimed that in the coming days, the Government will continue with planned initiatives to improve the quality of socio-economic conditions of all sections, including farmers.
The Agriculture Minister distributed livestock and agricultural machinery among the beneficiaries through this programme.
MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury also spoke on the occasion. Director of the department Sharadindu Das, Chairman of Panchayat Samiti Soumen Gope and other dignitaries were also present in the programme.
