469 Vacant Posts To Be Filled In Different Departments Of The State : Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.

Agartala, 18th of June, 2024 : 469 Vacant Posts to be filled in the different departments of the State. Hon’ble Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Tuesday (18th June, 2024) announced this decision of the Cabinet meeting in a press conference at the press conference of the Secretariat. This decision was taken in the state cabinet meeting on June 13 and 15.

The Food, Transport and Tourism minister said that out of 469 posts, 226 are in Health and Family Welfare Department, General Duty Medical Officer (Grade-4), 16 Super Specialty Medical Officer (Grade-3), 172 Specialist Medical Officer (Grade-4) and 49 Sub-Officers (Group-C) under Fire and Emergency Services Department. The recruitment process for all these posts will be done through Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC). It has also been decided to recruit 6 Food Sub-Inspectors (Group-C) under the Department of Food. The recruitment process for these 6 posts will be done through Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura (JRBT).

In the press conference, the Food Minister also added that in the cabinet meeting, it has been decided to 67 retired police officers of the state to facilitate the opening of immigration at Nishchintpur Railway Station, Sabroom ICP and Agartala MBB Airport on the advice of the Central Government.
