26 Indigenous Needy Families Deprived Of PMAY.

Ampi, 21st of July, 2024 : 26 very poor indigenous families under Palku VC are living in melancholic condition for not having a good house for survival. When many families of Ampi nagar RD block gained PMAY scheme amenity twice in several years but these 26 Indigenous families living in Rabokva village under Palku VC in Ampi nagar block in Gomati Tripura did not get PMAY house a single time till the date. These deprived indigenous needy families were appealing for PMAY house for last many years but still today they are in tears.

As per the report, all families do not have house where they can live with their children. In raining time their suffering knows no bound. Their old damaged and broken thatchers totally unfit to live in. During storming night no one of these families can sleep as water is falling every where in their houses. No one is concentrating over their sufferings. During CPIM era they had been deprived and in this ‘Sab Ka Sath Sab Ka Bikash’ administration their condition remained the same. Due to leaking water in monsoon season neither their children can study nor they can cook food properly.

One villager namely Zonunthar Kaipeng said, “We are suffering for house throughout the years. We are not capable to build our family house as we are day labourers. The political leaders appeared just before the election and motivate us to manage many government amenities but after being dignitary they forget us in the course of time. No progress has been appeared in our Rabokva Para. We are great victim of PMAY scheme, drinking water and electricity for last many decades.” The concerned administrative representatives must visit this village and interact with the local people to take immediate initiative to provide PMAY house amenity to these deprived indigenous rural needy families of Rabokva Para, demanded the victim families.
