The 22nd Annual Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society,Tripura State Branch held in Agartala on Sunday (30th October, 2022). Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated 22nd Annual Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society, Tripura State Branch (IPS-TSB) by lighting the lamp.
“Drug addiction is a serious side effect that endangers mental health”, said Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha while addressing the 22nd Annual Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society, Tripura State Branch (IPS-TSB). The Chief Minister said, at night the present Government continues to take strict legal action against drug addiction. Along with this, public awareness is being created against addiction. The Chief Minister also said, the present government is working on priority development of housing infrastructure and expansion of health services in the state.
In the event, the 22nd Indian Psychiatric Society, Tripura State Branch, Dr. A.K Nath and Dr. Jiban Chakraborty were felicitated. Dr. Dipayan Sarkar Vice President of Tripura State Branch of Indian Psychiatric Society delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Dr. Radha Debbarma Directorate of Family Welfare, Dr. Priyojyoi Chakma, Dr. Harprasad Sharma also spoke.
