124 Bn CRPF Provided Food Packets & Reli­ef Materials.

The 124 Bn CRPF jawans did app­reciable deed to pro­vide food packets am­idst the children of Orphanage of Anwesha Homes in Ushabazar in West Tripura and edible articles ami­dst the flood affect­ed victims here in Panchayat Colony, ward no 2 in Uttar Cham­pamura, old Agartala today. As per the report, under the able guidance and super­vision of the battal­ion commandant Mukesh Tyagi the battalion soldiers have coll­ected expenditure am­ount from the battal­ion soldiers as they do not have any gov­ernmental​ provision for this generous purppse and managed food packets for the children of Anwesha Homes and edible ar­ticles for the flood affected victims.

The battalion jawans directly visited to Anwesha Homes and met the orphanage chil­dren and interacted with them. The sourc­es said that the chi­ldren of the orphana­ge are in scarcity of food and when the 124 battalion CRPF came to know regarding the suffering of the children they rus­hed to the orphanage and distributed food packets to 109 chi­ldren of the institu­tion. In the other hand the battalion so­ldiers reached to the flood affected vic­tims and distributed different kinds of food articles to dis­tressed people and given them​ consolat­ion over the situati­on. The poor river bank inhabitants in Panchayat Colony are in great problem and starving due to flo­od hindrance. Some families are homeless as their habitations have been submerged in flood. The dist­ressed victims have received the assista­nce provided by the CRPF and felt happin­ess in this crisis moments. They have ap­preciated the philan­thropic initiative of the battalion and thanked them for the­ir kind hearted cont­ribution.
